GUESTBREAKER: I Like Cake More Than I Like You
So you blew me off (again) for our date on Sunday. No, no, it’s okay. I mean, I understand, you needed to sleep until 11 p.m. that night, and obviously setting an alarm clock is something that you can’t do. I mean after all, it’s not like you manage to do that when you need to go to work or anything… and the fact that I spent $50.00 to buy the ingredients to make a delicious shrimp pasta from scratch? No biggie. Because shrimp keeps forever! And making pasta from scratch isn’t a pain in the ass or anything. And that delicious cake I bought from a bakery to share with you while we enjoyed each other’s company? Well, that is gone. I may like you (or did like you) but I like cake more, and I am not one to waste a freshly made tiramisu. And neither are my friends. So while you were busy blowing me off and not returning my calls, I called my friends and we ate the aforementioned pasta and cake. Your name might have come up occasionally, usually in conjunction with “douchebag”. So enjoy your well-rested, cake free life. Oh, and did I mention that it will be free of me as well?

Did I write this one in my sleep or something!? No. Couldn’t be. Because clearly instead of myself and a bunch of friends it would just be me and HLN, and we would have successfully eaten EVERYTHING.
…Kind of like that time we discovered it was more economically advantageous to buy a full size tiramisu instead of 2 mini individual ones…which clearly had nothing to do with us wanting to gorge ourselves to the point of illness…nope, not one bit. View high resolution
